PrivateWave was a startup company born in 2005 and incubated into both Acceleratore d’Impresa del Politecnico di Milano and CP Startup dell’Università di Lugano complexes. Since November 1 st , 2018, PrivateWave S.r.l. have been merged by incorporation into BV TECH S.p.A.

We design and create solutions for defending the privacy of communications.

We use standard and open algorithms/protocols. We use and produce Open Source software because we do believe that “security through obscurity” couldn’t and shouldn’t work.

Position Description:

In order to enlarge the Milan R&D team, BV TECH S.p.A. is looking for a motivated mobile developer to aid in the development of its own mobile  applications.

Responsibilities:
  • Develops PrivateWave applications
Required Knowledge/Experience:
  • Be fond of coding, hacking, security and privacy
  • Android or iOS development experience (+1 year)
  • Good knowledge and experience in C++ or Java languages (+2 years)
  • Fluent technical English (spoken and written)
  • Good interpersonal skills and team work
  • Ability to keep to strict deadlines
Desirable Knowledge/Experience:
  • Knowledge of both network and VoIP protocols (e.g. SIP)
  • Knowledge of security and crypto algorithms
  • Experience in developing for other mobile platforms (Android, iOS, Blackberry 10, Windows Phone)
Availability: Immediate.

Type of contract:

Permanent (Italian “tempo indeterminato”)
