Open source group released software that cracks the A5/1 encryption algorithm
American cryptographer, Philip Zimmermann, is one of the leading experts in the field of e-mail and mobile phone communications security. He’s the creator of, among others, Pretty Good Privacy (PGP), the world’s most used email encryption and digital signature software; and the ZRTP protocol, used to encrypt mobile phone conversations at a 256-bit encryption level.
Thanks to Zimmermann’s contribution, and to the integration between the software he created and our S-MIME servers, PrivateWave is now able to provide its customers with top-level services in the field of telecommunications security, meeting the versatility of user-friendly products with the reliability of professional tools for a 100% safe information sharing.
